Ola: Ride now and pay later

No Comment Yet

Ola is an Indian online transportation network company, founded as an online cab aggregator in Mumbai, but is now based out of Bangalore. Ola has launched a new credit feature cab service where you ride now and pay later (after seven days).

Riders can pay their credit after seven days via credit or debit cards, net banking or with their own Ola Money e-wallet. This limit would then be extended for selective users depending on their transaction history.

“Credit is an important step towards our goal of ensuring mobility for a billion Indians,” said Raghuvesh Sarup, chief marketing officer, Ola. “Mobility is an everyday use case and our commitment to making it seamless includes building a frictionless payment experience.”

Ola could be the a tough rival for India’s most-valuable startups like Uber and radio-taxi operators.

Among the first corporate clients include Larsen & Toubro, Siemens and IBM etc.
